One of KINGMETAL factories is located in the beautiful Wenzhou, China. It was founded in 1989 and specializes in the production of stainless steel seamless pipes and fittings. There are 500 current employees, including more than 80 senior technicians. Thailand raises anti-dumping duties on imported alloy high-carbon wire rods from China 2016-12-23
At the request of Thailand’s Tata Steel Company, the Thai government reviewed the anti-dumping duties imposed on alloy high-carbon wire rods imported from China in May 2014. Iran cuts steel import taxes to stabilize domestic market 2016-03-31
The Iranian government has approved a reduction in the import tax on certain flat products, from the current 20% to 10%, which will take effect in the next few years, but it does not cover all flat products in order to stabilize domestic market prices. However, due to high import taxes and the devaluation of Iran's currency, imports are very slow. According to Iranian customs statistics, in the eighth month of the current Iranian year, Iran imported about 106,000 tons of flat products, a decrease of about 40% from the previous month. In the first eight months ending November 20, a total of 912,000 tons of flat products were imported, while it was previously estimated that the entire Iranian year would need to import about 700,000 tons. At present, the import tax on semi-finished steel is 15%, flat steel is 20%-26% (excluding stainless steel), I-beam, H-beam, etc.
